The
Challenge: Take the number one sales force in their respective
category and motivate them to climb to even greater heights as individuals
and as a sales organization!
Adding to the challenge: 30 days outside
of the meeting Kellogg’s was informed that, due to hotel over booking,
the ballroom would not be available for all scheduled general sessions. The
only option the Hotel’s solution to their mistake was to move the
client’s general sessions outside to a tent.
Meeting Planning
Our Solution: "Let's make the use
of the tent appear as if it were planned!"
To accommodate the three day meeting in this unique environment
we designed a tiered seating configuration in a horseshoe
shape that surrounded a thrust stage. By doing so, we
created an intimacy that gave the audience a more personal contact with
the presenters.
Electronic Presentations
With input from each executive’s communications
team we assisted in the development and delivery of graphics and video
presentations within each speech. P.U. also assisted in coaching key
executives on presentation style and delivery techniques. This included
rehearsals at corporate headquarters and at the show site.
Film & Video
New Product Introduction – During
the planning stages of the meeting, R&D requested assistance in introducing
a new and innovative product to the sales force. Understanding
the unique demographics this new product appealed to as well as presenting
the opportunities for all the Kellogg channels Productions Unlimited
created 3 three minute pieces involving targeted market segments; college
age males, busy corporate professionals and on-the-go singles.
Business Theater
Inspired by our theme, "Can’t Stop
At The Top", we created a custom stage set depicting
a mountain plateau. The blue and white hues of our scenic color palette
blended seamlessly into the stark white of the tent’s walls and
ceiling. This effectively gave the audience the overall sense of being
on top of a mountain.
The Creative was written not only provide continuity to
the entire meeting but also to support individual sales and marketing
presentations. The live element of the creative was delivered by a cast
of four talented performers. Performance skills such as: juggling,
martial arts, improvisation and even members of the Kellogg's sales force
were utilized throughout the meeting.
Awards Banquet – The final evening of the meeting
required a complete change over of the general session environment as
we created an elegant dinner setting with candle light centerpieces.
Additional lighting and design elements were added to enhance the transformation.
The Results – After the three day
meeting the sales force left San Diego energized, educated and inspired.
Upper management felt that their messages were supported in just the
right fashion. Productions Unlimited continues to enjoy a strong
partnership with Kellogg's. |
